The Colorado Healthcare Ethics Forum, commonly known as CHEF, facilitates clinical ethics education and networking statewide.  We host an annual conference where health care providers can learn and enhance skills needed to respond to today’s challenging ethical issues. Our larger goal is to aid individuals whenever they encounter difficult healthcare decisions using a foundation of knowledge, compassion, and openness.

Board Member Commitment

The CHEF board meets via Zoom, once a month, on the second Friday of the month, from 2:30 to 4:00 PM.  We have one in-person meeting a year and that is our annual ethics conference which is scheduled for late May, 2024.

Board terms are three-years in length and can be renewed for two consecutive terms or for a total of six (6) years.  All terms begin October 1, and end September 30. We normally have about 15 directors serving at any one time. The CHEF By-Laws allow up to 17 board members.
